All together=एक साथ : They attended the meeting all together.

Altogether=पूरी तरह से  : He is altogether her at fault.

Berth=रेल या जहाज में सोने का स्थान: he reserved a first-class berth in the Punjab Mail.

Birth=जन्म:  what is your date of birth?

Bale=गाठ:   He received two bales of cotton.

Bail=जमानत: He was released on bail.                    

Complement=पूरक: this verb must take a complement after it.

Compliment=सम्मान: Pay my best compliments to your father.

Canvas=एक प्रकार का मोटा कपड़ा: These shoes are made of canvas.   

Canvass=वोते मांगना:  He is canvassing for congress.

Council=परिषद:  My brother is a member of legislative council.

Counsel=सलाह:   He gave me good counsel.

Confidant=विश्वासपात्र: Pt. Nehru was a confidant of Gandhiji.

Confident= विश्वस्त (having confidence): He is confident of his success.

Coarse=घटिया:  He puts on a dress made of coarse clothes.

Course=पाठ्यक्रम: The question is out of course.

Dairy=दुग्ध शाला: He likes milk supplied by a government dairy.

Diary=डायरी: Note it down in your diary.

Hoard=जमा करना: He hoards a lot of money.

Horde=झुंड: Hoards of invaders came to India.

zealous=उत्साही: The zealous workers finished their work in time.
